Fifteen Years of Getting It Right the First Time
We started with two people, one van, and a rule we still hold to: never promise a date we can't hit. Three hundred projects later, that rule is the reason most of our work now comes from people we've already built for.
How we got here
Buildcore began in 2010 as a two-person renovation outfit taking on kitchens and loft conversions nobody else wanted to schedule. The work was small, but the approach was the same one we use on nine-figure commercial jobs today: walk the site properly, price it honestly, and tell the client the bad news early.
Word travelled. Renovations became extensions, extensions became ground-up homes, and by 2016 we were fitting out offices and light industrial units. We now run four site teams and a workshop, and we still turn down work we don't have the capacity to do well. Growth has never been the point. Finishing what we start is.

Honest pricing
Our proposals are fixed, itemised, and free of padding. If we're unsure about something, we tell you before you sign rather than absorbing it into a contingency you'll never see broken down.
One point of contact
You get a named site manager for the life of the project. No call centre, no being passed between departments, no chasing an office for an answer about your own house.
Safety as standard
Every person on our sites is certified, insured, and inducted. We have never had a reportable incident, and we would rather lose a week than take a shortcut that risks that.
The people on your project
Forty tradespeople, four site managers, two estimators, and one office team that actually answers the phone. Most of our crew have been with us over five years, which is unusual in this industry and is the single biggest reason our finish quality is consistent.
