Residential
Ridgeline House
A four-bedroom family home on a steeply sloping site nobody else would quote.

The challenge
The plot dropped nearly seven metres across its length, and two previous contractors had walked away after seeing the ground survey. The client had planning permission and a design, but no one willing to build it.
What we did
We re-engineered the foundation strategy with the structural engineer, replacing the proposed raft with stepped piled foundations that followed the natural grade. That removed roughly 400 tonnes of excavation and cut eleven weeks from the programme.
The result
Delivered three weeks ahead of the revised schedule and 6% under the approved budget. The stepped design turned the site’s biggest problem into its best feature: every principal room now opens onto a different level of garden.
